BadaBing! Club
BadaBing! originated in underground, decadent Naples, where in times long past, the BadaBing! Club was a famous meeting place for the international jet-set and the members of the underworld.

International Jet set

The BadaBing! Club was a magical place under the stars, where everybody felt safe for the paparazzi and the carabiniere. The BadaBing! Club was exclusive, luxurious and very bohemian, and their guests like-wise. It was neutral territory for famous artists, movie stars, politicians, the underworld and even the Vatican. It was in this place that the saying “Fuck you paparazzi” was often used.

Always on the edge
The sophisticated villa was heavily guarded and included a vast lounge, a billiards room, a poker room, an intimate cocktail bar, a small dining room, a swimming pool and... a couple of bedrooms on the second floor. In daytime it was very relaxed during elaborate lunches, but in the evening it became very wild, with lots of booze, dancing and not always legal practices. BadaBing! was more than a club, it became a way of life, always on the edge, but always in style.

And the name BadaBing!?

From hearsay the name BadaBing! originates from the Italian expression “Bada bene”, which literally means “Be careful” Afterwards it was transformed by Italian Americans into BadaBing!, which meant something like “That’s that, job well done, finito”.  In fact, the only right answer if one had had a BadaBing! assignment

BadaBing!  Famous from movies and TV

BadaBing! Fashion
After some searching, we found the original owner (Tonino Bello) of the Neapolitan Club and met him in Positano. Of course, he did not tell us all his stories, but enough to inspire us by this magical period and way of life. After some pressure he gave his consent to name our fashion label BadaBing!, as long as he can remain out of the picture.

BadaBing! donates 2% of their turnover
The entrepreneurs of BadaBing! donate 2% of the turnover to a charity in Naples: “Progetto Nisida Futuro Ragazzi” (project Nisida in favour of children’s future). It is a project which, for years, has re-educated youngsters under the age of 18, who are on their way to become criminals, to become skilled adolescents.  The professional aims are: film, theatre, photography, ceramics and a training to become a cook. The school is situated on the Isle of Nisida, not far away from Naples, where there is also a prison for minors. A lot of Neapolitans try to raise money for this project by means of concerts and beneficials.
